PUBLIC HEARING – UCH-TIF PLAN
The Town of Framingham will hold a public hearing on January 18, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the Ablondi Room of the Memorial Building at 150 Concord Street in order to review the proposed Urban Center Housing Tax Increment Financing Plan for the Central Business district and receive comments from the public. This entirely self-paced online course will teach you the basics of designing with native plants and show you how to incorporate native plants into your garden and landscape. Discover the variety of native plants found throughout New England and learn how to design a visually interesting landscape that also supports biodiversity. Students complete the course at their own pace.
Open enrollment begins Monday, November 14 and ends Sunday, April 2.

Money affects all Americans, but many of us lack the knowledge we need to make smart financial choices that will prepare us for whatever the future brings. Thinking Money strives to teach tweens, teens and their parents, caregivers and educators about financial literacy topics—like saving, spending and avoiding fraud—in a way that is not only understandable, but fun.
Thinking Money is a museum-quality traveling exhibition that is traveling to 50 U.S. public libraries between 2016 and 2018. Framingham Public Library will be hosting it from December 13, 2016 through January 18, 2017. Through an adventure-themed storyline, interactive iPad content and other hands-on activities, the exhibition explores financial themes in an informative and fun way.
Thinking Money was created by the FINRA Investor Education Foundation in partnership with the American Library Association (ALA) Public Programs Office.

2017 Grant Program Requirements
Organizations must be a part of the MetroWest community and qualify under IRS Section 501(c) (3) Code. We do not fund salaries. The MetroWest community includes the following towns: Ashland, Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton, Marlborough, Medway, Millis, Natick, Sherborn, Southborough, Sudbury and Wayland.
Types of projects to be funded
• Education and/or services in the field of healthcare
• Research in the field of healthcare
• Improving public health and/or social services for children, adults and seniors
• State the goal of the project
• Has the project been funded in the past two years? By whom? And how much?
• Provide a realistic timetable for completion
• Provide an itemized budget for the project
