Mayor Spicer invites you to a Community Conversation on Taxes, Property Values & Tax Relief Programs

Framingham, MA – Mayor Yvonne M. Spicer invites you to a community conversation on Taxes, Property Values and Tax Relief Programs on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Nevins Hall of the Memorial Building located at 150 Concord Street in Framingham. The community conversation will be hosted by Mary Ellen Kelley, Chief Financial Officer and Will Naser, Chief Assessor for the City of Framingham.

Have you ever wondered how property taxes are calculated and how Framingham compares to our surrounding communities? Have you heard of Proposition 2 1/2, but aren’t sure how it works? Interested in tax assistance for our older adults? This conversation is designed to answer your questions on taxes and affordability.

We invite you to share your thoughts, concerns, and ideas. All are invited! Spanish and Portuguese translation will be available, as well as a kids’ table with coloring materials.
