Statement Regarding Framingham Firefighter Michael Espinosa

Framingham Firefighter Michael Espinosa was arraigned on Friday, November 10, 2017 and charged with armed robbery in connection with the alleged bank robbery of the Citizen’s Bank in Natick, MA.  Chief Joseph Hicks immediately placed Firefighter Espinosa on paid administrative leave, pending further personnel action in accordance with Firefighter Espinosa’s civil service rights.

Michael Espinosa has been employed with the Town of Framingham since August of 2008 and his annual base salary is $58,803.03 per year as a firefighter. In light of the pending charges and judicial process that will now take place, the Town will not comment on the specifics of the case itself or regarding Micheal Espinosa’s employment with the Town of Framingham.
