Framingham Public Works will host a neighborhood meeting on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Brophy School, 575 Pleasant Street, Framingham to provide a forum for residents to meet the Framingham Public Works staff, construction project managers and consultants that are responsible for the construction of the Interchange 12 Sewer Interceptor Project. The project will upgrade an undersized section of sewer main that is downstream of the Framingham Technology Park that is home to large employers such as Bose, Genzyme and Staples.
“The Interchange 12 Sewer Interceptor Project is critical to the continued growth of one of Metrowest’s most significant job centers, Framingham Technology Park.” said Peter Sellers, Executive Director, Framingham Public Works. “As Framingham advances plans to attract more high-tech businesses to the Technology Park, we need to ensure that the public infrastructure can support our strategies for growth.” continued Sellers.
The Interchange 12 Sewer Interceptor Project will take place in an off-road easement alongside the CSX railroad tracks from the intersection of Maynard Road at Salem End Road and will continue north/northwest along the railroad tracks crossing Route 9 and continuing to approximately Temple Street near the Massachusetts Turnpike overpass.
All are invited to attend. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact Judi Teller, Sr. Communications Manager at (508) 532-6029. For more information about the Interchange 12 Sewer Interceptor Project, visit: http://www.framinghamma.gov/1842/Interchange-12-Sewer-Interceptor .
